Monday Links

On Twitter and Facebook I share links each day to various stuff that I think is great and/or worth people’s time. But not everyone that comes here is on Twitter or Facebook, so I gather up the best of those links each Monday and post them here so everyone can get in on the fun. If you’ve missed any of the past Monday Links (or just want to waste some time), check out the archive here.

Dan Mangan covering The Tragically Hip seems like the right way to start your week.

Why yes, I would like to listen to Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats cover Sam Cooke.

If you’re not listening to the album Whitney put out last month, you’re doing summer wrong.

Speaking of Whitney, I talked about that tremendous album of theirs and a couple others you most assuredly need in your ears for my friends over at Vinyl Me, Please.

You guys, this new Michael Kiwanuka album is gonna be a thing.

This new Julien Baker tune is so goddamn haunting and perfect.

Let’s hope this new tune from Caroline Smith means there’s a new album on the way soon. Enjoy.
