Monday Links

On Twitter and Facebook I share links each day to various stuff that I think is great and/or worth people’s time. But not everyone that comes here is on Twitter or Facebook, so I gather up the best of those links each Monday and post them here so everyone can get in on the fun. If you’ve missed any of the past Monday Links (or just want to waste some time), check out the archive here.

You can now stream the new album from Patrick Watson. You should do that.

The thing about the songs from Hiss Golden Messenger’s Lateness of Dancers is that they are still perfect. Here’s MC Taylor playing two of those songs.

Hey, here’s Natalie Prass playing one of the finest songs released so far this year, ‘My Baby Don’t Understand Me.’

….and Wangel playing another, ‘Seoul.’

The four musicians played the rest of their set like a bunch of medium-talent, delusional, backstabbing traitors.‘ Easily my favorite piece of comedic writing in the last while.

Made a short new mix last week. I think you might like a few tunes. (Click here to listen on 8tracks.)

Four videos of Nathaniel Rateliff playing in Belfast in 2010 sounds like the right way to end this here update. Enjoy.

Love what you have up here this week! Thanks for sharing.

Have you heard the new track released by Noah Gundersen from his forthcoming album “Carry The Ghost”? It is all sorts of stellar.
