Monday Links

On Twitter and Facebook I share links each day to various stuff that I think is great and/or worth people’s time. But not everyone that comes here is on Twitter or Facebook, so I gather up the best of those links each Monday and post them here so everyone can get in on the fun. If you’ve missed any of the past Monday Links (or just want to waste some time), check out the archive here.

Said the Gramophone’s favorite songs of 2014 list came out the other day. It’s the best list, year in and year out. You’d do well to go read what they write (and man do they write tremendously), and listen to/download the songs.

The almost half hour you spend with Basia Bulat in the below video is a great almost half hour.

I think the album I’m most looking forward to in 2015 is the debut from Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats’. Take a look/listen and get excited, you guys.

Serial ended last week, which sucks. But this Grantland piece was great. And this totally dumb/unnecessary/awesome Mail Kimp remix is, too. And so was this parody from SNL. So at least we got those things as we wait until season 2.

Really love this video of Khushi and friends playing ‘Like A City.’

Made a new mix of cozy songs last week. Will probably give it a good number of listens over the next few weeks. Hope you like it, too. (Click here to listen on 8tracks.)

And lastly, here’s a little Soundcloud playlist of what I’ve been listening to in December (click here to listen on Soundcloud). Enjoy!
