‘When I Leave’- James Vincent McMorrow

Still kinda trying to totally wrap my mind around the idea of James Vincent McMorrow making sexy music that people who love sad bastard music can embrace and love as their own. The terrific album he released earlier this year (Post Tropical) helped me with that ‘problem.’ ‘When I Leave,’ a track McMorrow recorded while on the road, ensures I fully understand that this is a real, live thing- a very, very good thing- and that he’s here to ensure we all feel the sexy, even though of us who love the sad stuff. Enjoy.
