‘Home (Leave The Lights On)’- Field Report

We’ve been over this before, but it bears repeating: you should be unbelievably excited about Marigolden, the upcoming album from Field Report. ‘Home (Leave The Lights On)’ is the latest single from the album, and it is terrific, finding Chris Porterfield at his wordy, phrase-flipping best as he weaves a story of struggling through self-discovery over beautifully sliding guitars and that crisp, bouncy beat. This is the sound of a songwriter coming into their own.

You should really go pre-order Marigolden right now (it’s due out 10/7)- it’s one of the finest things I’ve heard all year, and I know you’ll agree once it hits your ears. Enjoy.

Not specific to this post, but just want to say thanks/commend you for always including a link to purchase the music, AND for having that link be to the band’s (or in the case of this post, their label’s) website rather than a big retailer like Amazon, etc.
