‘Tide’- Jay William Henderson

It’s been a long journey, this last almost two years or so, and I’ve gained a new appreciation for a lot of things. One of those things is tough, realistic love songs, songs where things aren’t an easy fairytale, where the person being written about isn’t the first one the author has said these words to, but that they know without a doubt that they mean this time. It’s nice to be on this side of things, to know these songs, songs like Jay William Henderson’s ‘Tide’ and Water Liars’ ‘Let It Breathe,’ can tell the story so perfectly. Enjoy.
