Monday Links

On Twitter and Facebook I share links each day to various stuff that I think is great and/or worth people’s time. But not everyone that comes here is on Twitter or Facebook, so I gather up the best of those links each Monday and post them here so everyone can get in on the fun. If you’ve missed any of the past Monday Links (or just want to waste some time), check the archive of posts here.

NPR is now streaming the magnificent new album from The War On Drugs ahead of its release next week. Do yourself (and your day) a favor and give it a listen.

I’ve been telling anyone who will listen that I think PHOX is going to have a huge year. Not a believer yet? Head over to Noisetrade and grab their terrific live set from the iTunes Festival last year for free and hear for yourself.

Absolutely lovely new video here from Noah Gundersen for ‘Time Moves Quickly,’ the closing track on his debut album.

Goodness is this version of ‘No One’s Gonna Love You’ spectacular.

A new song from Widower here. Let’s hope there’s something new cooking album-wise.

Some terrific camera trickeration in this here video of Shakey Graves playing ‘Tomorrow.’

‘Reed Road’ is comfortably atop my ‘This Needs A Proper Studio Recording’ list. Damn. Enjoy.
