Monday Links

On Twitter and Facebook I share links each day to various stuff that I think is great and/or worth people’s time. But not everyone that comes here is on Twitter or Facebook, so I gather up the best of those links each Monday and post them here so everyone can get in on the fun. If you’ve missed any of the past Monday Links (or just want to waste some time), check the archive of posts here.

Favorite read of the week: this incredibly interesting piece from Hypebot on the monetary value of a fan to bands.

Just Kevin Large (better known as Widower) playing ‘Oh Catherine, My Catherine’ in an empty house. Totally normal.

The young folks in LHS Room 125 had PHOX in for a session not too long ago, and last week the first video from said session, for ‘Evil,’ was posted. These kids, man. What a semester they’ve had.

You should go download this collection of covers from Damien Jurado & Richard Swift as soon as possible.

I think 2014 might be a big year for the man who goes by Rhodes. This video for ‘Raise Your Love’ shows why.

Stuck on this Noah Gundersen video again. Absolutely cannot wait for his album to come out in February.

It’s now December, which means year-end lists are going to start popping up all over (including here in due time). Let’s all remember that this Donovan Woods video is the best official video of the year. No other video is in the discussion. Enjoy.
