Monday Links

On Twitter (and Facebook) I share links each day to various stuff that I think is great and/or worth people’s time. But not everyone that comes here is on Twitter or Facebook, so I gather up the best of those links each Monday and post them here so everyone can get in on the fun. If you’ve missed any of the past Monday Links (or just want to waste some time), check the archive of posts here.

The debut album from Chvrches is now streaming on NPR. You should be sure to give it a good, loud listen. And then you should give a good listen to the new album from Jordan Klassen.

I wrote about Sylvan Esso’s terrific ‘Hey Mami’ last week here, but it wasn’t all that good. So I went ahead and wrote about it for Brightest Young Things, this time using real words and such. Ah, feels good. Oh, and if you don’t remember that song (tsk tsk), here’s the duo performing/creating it in the Moog Sound Lab.

This new Nick Mulvey song ‘Nitrous’ is terrific, as is the video to go along with it.

Hayden’s ‘Blurry Nights,’ one of my very favorite songs released this year, now has a terrific official video to go with it.

No big deal, just The Staves playing ‘Mexico’ in a makeshift hut after getting drenched on the beach. Totally normal.

Wanna hear some new Tyler Lyle demos? Yeah, you do. Go here.

Best way to end this? Easy: three unreleased songs from Shakey Graves. Enjoy
