‘Krampus’- Houndmouth

Here’s the thing: I’ve played ‘Krampus’ by Houndmouth a few hundred times over the six months or so and I still find it hard to believe that the song is only two minutes long and contains but one line sung over and over. Neither of these undeniable facts makes any damn sense to me for some reason. I kinda like it that way.

Houndmouth released their magnificent debut EP in August of last year and are currently touring in support of it- they’ll be in Chicago at The Hideout on April 18th. You’d do well to buy the EP and some tickets for yourself if they’re stopping near you. Enjoy.

Bonus: This also gives me a good reason to post ‘Penitentiary’ here again. It’s real, real good.

  1. Bought their album after the announcement that they’re playing at Newport this summer…SO glad I did.
