Monday Links

On Twitter I share links each day to various stuff that I think is great and/or worth people’s time. But not everyone that comes here is on Twitter, so I gather up the best of those links each Monday and post them here so everyone can get in on the fun. If you’ve missed any of the past Monday links (or just want to waste some time), check the archive of posts here. Enjoy.

The latest NPR mailbag focuses on ‘What To Enjoy And How To Enjoy It.’ The answer to the first question is especially superb. And right.

There’s nothing to dislike about this video of Damien Jurado playing ‘Everything Trying’ on the steps of a Chicago home.

This article on the impact of the iPod on music and its consumption was the most interesting thing I read this week.

Runner up for the ‘most interesting thing I read this week’ prize: this Huffington Post piece on how pop music has shifted to using more minor melodies.

There’s never a bad day to hear something as beautiful as Kelli Schaefer’s ‘Gone In Love’ again.

There have been a lot of great videos posted on the internet this year (yep, starting to think of year-end lists and such), but this remains my absolute favorite. Enjoy.
