‘Pain Love (Live at Mississippi Studios)’- Typhoon

Nothing makes me quite as happy as hearing some new music from Typhoon, and thus stumbling upon an exquisite live recording of a new song called ‘Pain Love’ has made my day. It’s chalk full of horns, Kyle Morton’s dark, pain-filled lyrics and an underlying feeling of hope that keeps the song afloat- essentially everything I’ve come to love in the music of Typhoon.

While you wait for the new album they’re working on to be completed (which I’d assume ‘Pain Love’ will be) head over to their Bandcamp page and familiarize yourself (if you haven’t already) with the two stellar releases they already have to their name- A New Kind of House and Hunger & Thirst. Enjoy.
